Flask heaters are used in the chemical, medical, pharmaceutical, food, paint, and textile industries that require a laboratory environment. They heat liquids placed in glass flasks of varying volumes in laboratories. Temperature control is performed using electronic thermostats ranging from 50 to 400 degrees Celsius. The heating elements are placed and woven inside fiberglass tubing, creating a soft housing for the glass flask. These devices can also be manufactured with digital thermostat control upon special order. In these models, the temperature sensor probe measures directly inside the glass flask. Support rods located on the back of the devices allow for the connection of cooling units and thermometers to the flasks. Flask heaters are easy to use and suitable for tabletop installation.
